Tours of our Child Care Center are the best way to start the inquiry process. Please call the Center Director, Suzanne Newcomb, or Assistant Director Gwendolyn Tucker, at (914) 939-3079 to schedule a tour.
We are a full day child care program. When space permits we are able to do part-day rates for 3s and 4s. Please inquire if you are interested in part-day.
The Application Form is completed and submitted along with a $100 non-refundable application fee. When the application and fee are received, your child is on our list for class placement. All checks to be made out to "St Paul's Child Care Center." This will allow for the child to be added to our class list for placement. Once a spot is offered the first month of tuition will be due to hold the space and is non-refundable.
One month's deposit is payable at the time of enrollment. Please note the tuition amounts listed below are valid for all new and current participants for 2017. The following monthly rates will be in effect through December 31, 2017.
The Center is open for 50 of the 52 weeks of the year. Tuition is calculated on only the 50 weeks, but is spread out over the year in 12 equal monthly installments.
Infants must be six weeks old to be accepted into the infant program.
Children will move into the toddler program when they are developmentally ready, no earlier than 18 months.
For the the 3 year old program, the child must be at least two years and nine months and developmentally ready.
Our 4s classroom is for children that will be going to kindergarten the following school year. We may also have children move from 3s to 4s if they turn 4 in the middle of the school year.
All food for infants must be brought with the child.
Toddlers, 3s & 4s — 2 snacks/day is included in the Tuition Fee, but children must bring a fully prepared lunch.
Most children will have had their breakfast before coming to St. Paul's but, if not, they are welcome to bring that as well.
Microwaves and a Crock Pot are available for reheating food.
Clothing and Toileting and Diaper Supplies
We ask that all children keep a complete set of clothing at the Center.
Children requiring diapers must bring a supply of diapers and related wipes and non-medicated creams.
Nap/Rest and Supplies Needing Laundering
Infants nap on their own individual schedules during the day. The Center provides a crib for each infant and a cot for older infants nearing toddler age. All other classrooms have a nap/rest period available after lunch. They all nap/rest on Center provided cots.
Parents must send a blanket and sheet to use on the cot or crib your child is assigned. They must be taken home each Friday, washed, and returned Monday of each week.
*Additional information will be supplied in the Application Packet regarding Illness Policies, Other Medical Matters, Cancellations, etc.
Outdoor Times (weather permitting) are also part of the daily routine.
It is very important that all of the age groups get outside time daily for fresh air and gross motor development.
The mobile children use our playground, take nature walks around our property and use the fenced in grass area.
Our Younger infants go for stroller rides, use the infant section of the play area and also play out on large blankets in the grass area.
